Supply Chain & Quality Manager
Location: California (Hybrid - minimal in‑office requirement)
A growing, multi-unit foodservice organization with an international footprint is seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Quality Manager to support its U.S. operations. This role plays a critical leadership function across food safety, supplier management, and product development, while partnering closely with cross-functional and international teams.
What You'll Do
Quality Assurance & Food Safety
- Develop and maintain food safety and quality programs across suppliers, warehouses, and restaurant locations
- Lead audits and inspections, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and sustained
- Investigate quality incidents and customer complaints, identifying root causes and preventive measures
- Deliver training and guidance on food safety standards to internal teams and franchise partners
- Ensure ongoing compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations
Supply Chain Management
- Build and manage reliable supply chains for food products, packaging, and equipment
- Source and negotiate with vendors to balance cost, quality, and consistency
- Oversee procurement contracts, budgeting, and supplier performance
- Manage import logistics and coordinate with freight and customs partners as needed
- Support expansion into new geographic markets through scalable supply solutions
Product & Menu Development
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and launch new menu items and limited-time offerings
- Coordinate product trials, cost modeling, and supplier collaboration
- Conduct tastings and gather feedback to align offerings with local market preferences
- Support rollout of new products through documentation, training, and operational guidance
Cross‑Functional & International Collaboration
- Work closely with overseas partners to align on quality standards, sourcing strategies, and product direction
- Share best practices and support knowledge transfer across regions
- Act as a key liaison between U.S. operations and international counterparts
Qualifications
- 10+ years of leadership experience in foodservice, manufacturing, or consumer goods supply chain and/or quality roles
- Strong understanding of food safety systems, regulatory compliance, and supplier management
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-vendor supply networks
- Experience supporting menu or product development is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working with distributed and cross-border teams
