Job Summary:
The Technical Support Manager oversees the delivery of technical assistance and product support to internal teams and external customers within the chemical manufacturing sector. This role ensures the effective resolution of technical issues, supports product development and quality assurance, and drives continuous improvement in support processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of technical support specialists to provide timely and accurate assistance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on chemical products, formulations, and manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and training materials.
  • Monitor support metrics and implement strategies to improve service levels and customer satisfaction.
  • Interface with clients to understand needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field (Master's of PhD preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in technical support or product development within chemical manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, REACH, TSCA).
  • Proficiency in support software and data analysis tools.
