Assistant Warehouse Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager who is dependable, proactive, and comfortable leading from the floor. This role is highly hands-on-ideal for someone who enjoys working alongside the team to keep operations accurate, efficient, and running smoothly. You will support daily warehouse activities, promote a positive team environment, and help maintain high standards for productivity and safety.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Supervise and support workflows for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping to meet operational deadlines.
  • Train, coach, and motivate team members to maintain strong performance and teamwork.
  • Maintain organized inventory, ensuring accurate documentation and system updates in warehouse management tools.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges quickly, applying practical and effective solutions.
  • Work closely with logistics and internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Uphold safety standards, enforce procedures, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
  • Step into operational tasks when needed, including loading/unloading, labeling, staging, palletizing, and general warehouse duties.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, hands-on approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient with inventory management tools and standard warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active work.
  • Dependable, flexible, and proactive in resolving operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer goods, distribution, or logistics environments.
  • Knowledge of ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • OSHA certification or forklift certification is a plus.
