Automation/Controls Engineer
A leading food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Automation/Controls Engineer to support and optimize manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining automated systems to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
- Implement automation solutions to improve process efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to resolve control system issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all automation projects.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and system upgrades.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation and controls.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley preferred) and industrial networking.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
