Job Title: Buyer - Electronic Components
Location: Arkansas
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 base salary
Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Buyer with experience in electronic component procurement to join our team in Arkansas. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of purchasing experience who is ready to take ownership of sourcing initiatives and contribute to supply chain optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure electronic components from domestic and international suppliers
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages or overstock
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to align procurement strategies with business goals
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategic sourcing initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on electronic components
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
