Location: Charlotte, NC Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 (flexible for exceptional experience) Work Model: Hybrid (1-2 days/week onsite after proficiency)
Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Buyer / Planner to support our supply chain, purchasing, and production planning functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment, enjoys working with data, and can independently manage multiple priorities with a strong sense of urgency.
Key Responsibilities
Manage purchasing activities, including supplier communication, order placement, and delivery follow‑up.
Plan and schedule production materials using SAP (PP, MM, SD modules).
Maintain accurate inventory levels and support demand planning.
Coordinate customer order management activities to ensure on‑time delivery.
Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, logistics, and finance teams.
Prepare reports and maintain documentation with a high level of accuracy.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain and production planning.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or customer order management.
Minimum 3 years of hands‑on SAP experience (PP, MM, SD modules required).
Manufacturing industry experience is required.

Bachelor's degree preferred; associate degree (2‑year) minimum.
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numbers and data.
Proficiency with computers; Excel skills (basic to intermediate) strongly preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Highly organized, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and think critically.
Strong business judgment and problem‑solving skills.
Sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
