Role Overview
The Director / Senior Director of Talent Acquisition will serve as a key strategic partner to the global leadership team. This role will drive the end‑to‑end recruitment strategy, grow talent pipelines across multiple regions, and establish scalable TA processes that can support hyper‑growth in engineering, manufacturing, technology, and corporate domains.
This leader will oversee regional and cross‑border hiring initiatives and ensure alignment with global workforce planning, business expansion priorities, and organizational capability development.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Workforce Planning
- Develop and execute the global talent acquisition strategy aligned with international expansion objectives.
- Partner with C‑suite and senior business leaders to forecast hiring needs across Middle East, Europe, and APAC.
- Build scalable recruitment frameworks, governance models, and operating standards to support rapid growth.
TA Team Leadership & Function Building
- Lead, mentor, and scale the Talent Acquisition team across regions.
- Establish best‑in‑class TA processes, technology platforms, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance recruitment efficiency and candidate experience.
Global Recruitment Delivery
- Oversee high‑volume recruitment for engineering, R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, technical operations, and corporate functions.
- Build strong global talent pipelines and drive proactive sourcing strategies for critical and niche roles.
- Strengthen employer branding and global talent marketing to attract world‑class talent.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Work closely with China HQ leadership; Mandarin proficiency preferred for effective communication.
- Partner with HRBPs, compensation, mobility, and global business leaders to ensure cohesive hiring execution.
Data, Analytics & Governance
- Use TA analytics, market intelligence, and competitive insights to guide decision‑making.
- Ensure compliance with local and international hiring regulations, processes, and documentation standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- 12-20+ years of Talent Acquisition leadership experience in large‑scale, fast‑growing organizations (5,000+ headcount preferred).
- Proven success in building and scaling TA functions across multiple international regions.
- Experience managing high‑volume or technical hiring environments (engineering, manufacturing, R&D, etc.).
- Strong organizational design, process optimization, and TA transformation capability.
- Ability to operate in fast‑paced, rapidly changing, high‑growth environments.
Preferred:
- Industry background in new energy, clean tech, high‑tech, EV, batteries, chemicals, industrial equipment, or similar sectors.
- Mandarin proficiency due to frequent engagement with China HQ leadership (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience working in multinational companies or cross‑border HR environments.
