Location: Scranton, PA OR Lancaster, PA
Schedule: Hybrid (3x a week in the office)
Company Profile: A leader in the CPG space is looking to add a Contract Manufacturing Operations Specialist to their team. This person is responsible for owning operational data, cost visibility, and execution tracking to drive accurate, consistent, well-documented outcomes across external manufacturing partners.
The Contract Manufacturing Operations Specialist Will Be Responsible for the Following:
- Own invoice receipt, validation, reconciliation, and variance resolution for contract manufacturers and related logistics; close timing/documentation gaps to reduce financial risk
- Maintain visibility to tariffs, duties, and trade costs by lane/region/footprint; support global manufacturing operation evaluation using true landed-cost comparisons
- Own routine costing for non-innovation items and translate inputs into network recommendations based on total landed cost, capacity, and service
- Ensure costing decisions are consistent, repeatable, and comparable across regions
- Track day-to-day production schedules and adherence; identify risks/variances early and escalate with clear, data-driven context
- Develop standard reporting to support predictable execution and performance management
The Contract Manufacturing Operations Specialist Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years in supply chain/operations, contract manufacturing, or logistics
- Experience with invoicing, cost tracking, and variance/problem resolution
- Working knowledge of freight, duties/tariffs, and landed cost
- Strong Excel skills; ERP/supply chain system experience preferred
- Clear communicator
- International manufacturing/logistics exposure
