Role Overview
Responsible for managing AI/LLM data procurement to support model training and business applications within a data‑driven environment (quant / internet / AI companies).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement of training, testing, and multimodal datasets (text, image, etc.)
- Develop vendor strategy, sourcing, and commercial negotiations (pricing, licensing, contracts)
- Partner with AI/ML, data, and research teams to define data requirements and quality standards
- Manage data quality, compliance, and risk control (deduplication, copyright, privacy)
- Drive cost optimization and supplier performance management
Key Requirements
- 8+ years in procurement, sourcing, or data-related roles (AI/data experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of LLM data ecosystem (training data, labeling, evaluation datasets)
- Proven vendor management and negotiation skills
- Experience in complex procurement projects (RFP, contracts, cost control)
- Good knowledge of data compliance, IP, and data security risks
- Strong stakeholder management across technical, legal, and business teams
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (mandatory)
Preferred
- Experience in quantitative investment firms, AI companies, or internet platforms
- Exposure to large-scale data procurement or global vendor management
