Location: Miami, FL - Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote)

Position Summary

My client is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Demand Planner to lead forecasting, inventory optimization, and supplier collaboration across e-commerce and retail channels. This Miami-based role follows a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 remote) and works cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Category Management, and Finance. The ideal candidate brings strong sourcing and inventory management expertise, a proactive mindset, and advanced skills in Power BI and Excel.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead demand planning and forecasting across Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe's, Wayfair, and D2C platforms.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor forecast accuracy, inventory health, and supplier KPIs.
  • Align inventory forecasts with revenue goals and budget targets through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactively identify and resolve inventory risks, supply gaps, and overstock issues.
  • Manage international shipments, container timelines, and overseas arrivals to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Negotiate supplier terms to optimize pricing, lead times, and delivery performance.
  • Review and approve purchase orders to ensure alignment with demand plans and budget controls.
  • Monitor inventory turnover, aging stock, and slow-moving SKUs to drive actionable inventory strategies.
  • Deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies through accurate forecasting and strategic sourcing.
  • Support seasonal planning, product lifecycle management, and category transitions.
  • Partner with Finance to assess demand impact on P&L and support GL alignment.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management, ideally in e-commerce or durable goods.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing and negotiating with domestic and international suppliers.
  • Experience with Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe's, Wayfair, or similar retail partners.
  • Proficiency in Power BI with the ability to independently build and manage dashboards.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including profitability tracking and inventory reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, NetSuite, SAP).
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives under tight deadlines.
  • Deep understanding of inventory control, SKU optimization, and supply chain best practices.
  • Proven ability to align demand planning with financial objectives.
  • U.S. work experience required.
