Director of Operations- Landscaping

We're seeking a Director of Operations to lead our maintenance landscape division. This is a high impact, senior leadership role responsible for overseeing people, processes, and performance across all maintenance accounts, while helping shape the long term direction and growth of the division.

What You'll Do

Lead & Inspire Teams

Provide leadership to account managers, operations managers, and maintenance crews. Drive performance, develop talent, and foster a strong, accountability focused culture.

Drive Operational Excellence

Oversee scheduling, routing, and workflows to ensure efficient operations and consistent, high quality service delivery across all accounts.

Build & Maintain Client Relationships

Act as a trusted partner for key clients, ensuring satisfaction, proactively addressing needs, and identifying opportunities to expand services.

Manage Budgets & Resources

Own division‑level budgeting and resource planning, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize efficiency, profitability, and scalability.

Ensure Quality & Safety Standards

Maintain high service standards through regular site visits, quality audits, and strict enforcement of safety protocols across all teams.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in landscape maintenance or a related field, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Business, Landscape Management, or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated success leading large teams and managing complex, multi‑site operations
  • Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing budgets, pricing, and contract performance
  • Solid knowledge of horticultural practices, maintenance equipment, and industry safety standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with Aspire is a plus
