Director Of Strategic Accounts
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Strategic Accounts to lead and grow key customer relationships within the food and beverage sector. This role is responsible for developing long-term partnerships, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional value to our strategic clients. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, a strong commercial acumen, and a passion for building customer-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Leadership: Serve as the primary executive contact for strategic accounts, ensuring alignment with client goals and business objectives.
- Growth Strategy: Develop and execute account plans that drive revenue, margin expansion, and customer satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance) to deliver tailored solutions and ensure operational excellence.
- Customer Insights: Leverage market intelligence and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations, renewals, and pricing strategies to maximize value for both the company and the customer.
- Performance Management: Monitor account performance metrics, forecast revenue, and report regularly to senior leadership.
- Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer forums to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in strategic account management, sales, or business development within the food and beverage industry.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar accounts and delivering consistent growth.
- Strong understanding of foodservice, retail, or CPG channels.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
- Experience with CRM tools and data-driven decision-making.
