Base salary range: $90,000 - $135,000 dependent on YOE

The Opportunity

A leading manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to support and optimize electrical systems in a high-volume industrial facility. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving complex electrical challenges to keep operations running smoothly.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and maintain motors, drives, switchgear, and control systems (PLC/DCS).
  • Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to boost reliability.
  • Support capital projects, system upgrades, and new equipment installations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards (OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E).
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering (preferably in paper/pulp or building materials)
  • Strong skills in PLC/DCS troubleshooting, automation systems, and power distribution.
  • Ability to read schematics, perform arc flash analysis, and lead root cause investigations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred); certifications like PE, CMRP, or CCST are a plus.
