About the Role
An international food manufacturing group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of brownfield engineering projects across multiple production sites in Belgium. This role focuses on continuous improvement, line capability upgrades, and strengthening engineering standards across the organisation.
You will oversee small to mid‑sized projects while also contributing to documentation, process structure, and standardisation across the group's manufacturing network.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute multiple small to mid‑scale brownfield engineering projects
(e.g., line improvements, maintenance upgrades, capability additions). - Manage a portfolio of up to 38 active projects, totalling €8-10M annually.
- Spend ~50% of time developing documentation, engineering standards, and structural frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with site teams and stakeholders; strong on‑site presence required.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional groups and indirect project resources.
- Report project status, risks, and progress to senior leadership.
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience in Food & Beverage manufacturing.
- Strong background in brownfield projects / continuous improvement.
- Ability to operate in high‑volume, low‑technology production environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English.
