Overview:
Lead all aspects of fleet and facility maintenance, focusing on safety, service, and cost efficiency. Manage internal teams and external vendors to ensure reliable operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance of fleet, building systems, sanitation, refrigeration, and equipment.
- Manage facility projects, preventative maintenance schedules, and safety protocols.
- Supervise and develop maintenance staff; handle hiring, training, and performance management.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for services such as refrigeration, janitorial, pest control, and security.
- Handle purchasing, warranties, inventory, and budget planning.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance and documentation meet manufacturer and regulatory standards.
- Support drivers with equipment troubleshooting and roadside assistance.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate on safety training, inspections, and emergency response planning.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of maintenance management experience.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, environmental regulations, and safety codes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; flexible schedule availability.
- Valid driver's license; knowledge of DOT, Hazmat, and OSHA regulations.
- Certifications in refrigeration/HVAC, ammonia operation, and fleet mechanics preferred.
Work Environment:
- Mix of office, warehouse, and on-road settings; exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
Travel:
- Up to 10% for training and meetings.
Compensation:
- Includes annual incentive bonus.
