What You'll Do

As Procurement Category Manager - Raw Materials, you will:

  • Develop and execute category strategies for raw materials, ensuring alignment with global and regional business objectives.
  • Lead negotiations for long-term supply agreements, securing competitive pricing and reliable supply.
  • Manage supplier relationships through robust SRM practices, driving performance, innovation, and sustainability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Finance to deliver value beyond cost.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for risk mitigation, cost reduction, and value creation.
  • Champion sustainability and compliance, ensuring sourcing practices meet environmental, ethical, and regulatory standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in procurement/category management, ideally in raw materials or chemicals.
  • Industry knowledge is a preference
  • Strong negotiation and contracting skills with a track record of delivering value.
  • Ability to analyse market data, manage risk, and develop strategic plans.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
