Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head of Retail to lead the store for a premium lifestyle sportswear brand. You will produce commercial results, deliver elevated customer experience, and ensure sophisticated brand presentation in one of Asia's most dynamic retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Experience
- Drive sales through data‑driven strategies tailored to lifestyle sportswear consumer trends.
- Lead key product drops, collaborations, and community-led activations that generate traffic and brand heat.
- Cultivate VIP, collector, and lifestyle community relationships.
- Champion premium, energetic, and informed service standards.
Store Operations & Brand Experience
- Ensure smooth daily operations, compliance, cash handling, and loss-prevention execution.
- Maintain a premium store environment with precise execution of VM guidelines, windows, mannequins, and seasonal concepts.
- Uphold brand excellence across all touchpoint service, presentation, and operations.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing team with expertise in product technology, styling, and performance features.
- Deliver ongoing training on innovation, customer engagement, and brand values.
- Manage staff scheduling aligned with peak shopping periods and seasonal campaigns.
Inventory, Replenishment & Allocation Management
- Ensure accurate stock levels through disciplined cycle counts, BOH organization, and shrinkage control.
- Oversee daily and weekly replenishment routines to maintain optimal on‑floor availability across footwear, apparel, and accessories.
- Monitor sell‑through and stock‑to‑sales ratios to trigger timely replenishment or reallocation.
- Collaborate with allocation/merch teams to ensure the store receives the right product mix by size, color, category, and demand trends.
- Manage RTVs, transfers, markdown execution, and product lifecycle activities following APAC guidelines.
- Provide actionable feedback on category performance and consumer behavior to regional merchandising teams.
Financial & KPI Management
- Manage store budgets and control operating costs.
- Track key KPIs-conversion, UPT, ATV, sell-through, shrinkage, replenishment efficiency-and share insights with regional leadership.
- Implement initiatives that strengthen profitability while maintaining premium brand standards.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of retail experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role within premium fashion, lifestyle, or sportswear.
- Strong knowledge of replenishment processes, allocation logic, and retail stock management.
- Proven ability to optimize stock availability, drive sell-through, and minimize shrinkage.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on coaching and high-performance culture.
- Deep passion for fashion, sportswear innovation, sneakers, and modern lifestyle trends.
- Proficient with POS, inventory systems, and MS Office; flexible to work weekends, holidays, and key launch days.
- Fluency of Cantonese, Mandarin Chinese and English is highly required.
