About the Role
This is more than an HR position-it's a strategic leadership role. The HR Manager will serve as a true people partner to the Plant Manager and leadership team, acting as a change agent to foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. You'll balance business needs with employee advocacy, ensuring that HR initiatives align with operational goals while creating a positive and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the Plant Manager and leadership team to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Change Leadership: Drive cultural and organizational change initiatives that enhance performance and employee engagement.
- Accountability & Performance: Implement processes that promote accountability and high standards across all levels of the organization.
- HR Generalist Expertise: Manage all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and training.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, resolving issues and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Engagement & Retention: Develop programs that strengthen employee engagement and retention.
Key Skills and Experience
- HR Generalist: Extensive experience in all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
- Industry Expertise: Solid background in the manufacturing sector, with insights into its unique HR challenges and requirements.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, showcasing expertise in driving organizational success through HR strategies and solutions.
- Leadership Competencies: Ability to influence, lead change, and build trust across all levels of the organization.
