Human Resources Analyst (Compensation Focus)

Full‑Time | On‑Site | Manufacturing Environment

Position Summary

We are seeking a data‑driven Human Resources Analyst with a strong focus on compensation analysis to support a dynamic, operations‑focused organization. This role leads key compensation initiatives while also gaining exposure to the broader employee lifecycle, including recruiting, training, and benefits.

This is a fully on‑site position, offering close partnership with leadership and employees in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, influencing leaders with insights, and building fair, competitive compensation programs while developing into a well‑rounded HR professional.


Key Responsibilities

Compensation & Analytics (Primary Focus)

  • Lead market pricing and benchmarking using salary surveys and industry data
  • Analyze internal equity and recommend pay adjustments to ensure fair and consistent compensation practices
  • Support the development and maintenance of salary structures, pay ranges, and incentive programs
  • Create and maintain compensation guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Conduct job evaluations and maintain job descriptions and classifications
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to provide data‑driven compensation recommendations
  • Monitor compensation trends and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision‑making

Broader HR Exposure & Development

  • Support recruiting efforts through workforce analytics and process improvements
  • Assist with training and development initiatives by analyzing participation and effectiveness
  • Contribute to benefits analysis, including utilization and cost trend reporting
  • Participate in cross‑functional HR projects to gain exposure across multiple HR disciplines

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR analyst experience with a strong emphasis on compensation
  • Experience with job evaluation, market pricing, and compensation structure design
  • Working knowledge of compensation practices, trends, and compliance requirements

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Advanced Excel and HRIS proficiency; data visualization experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with leaders at all levels
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
  • Strong project management and organizational skills

Preferred

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CCP, SHRM‑CP, PHR)
  • Experience working with compensation survey tools and systems
