Role: IT Sourcing Manager
Work Model: Hybrid 4 days a week on-site
In this client‑facing role, you will lead end‑to‑end technology procurement, manage vendor relationships, and provide strategic advisory across enterprise SaaS, cloud providers, Managed Service Providers, and reseller networks. You'll oversee the full vendor lifecycle-from discovery and due diligence to negotiation, contracting, license analysis, and renewals-while helping clients identify blind spots and optimize their technology spend. This person will support clients across private equity, investment banking, hedge funds, and asset management.
We're looking for someone with strong technical fluency, strategic sourcing expertise, and exceptional stakeholder management skills. This role is ideal for a procurement leader who wants to shape a fast‑growing function and influence both client and vendor outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage key enterprise technology vendor relationships, including performance and contract optimization
- Lead sourcing and procurement processes: solution assessment, negotiation, renewals, and compliance
- Advise clients on cost‑saving opportunities, licensing strategies, and procurement best practices
- Analyze usage and entitlements to reduce waste, optimize spend, and mitigate audit risk
- Partner with internal teams on contract terms, invoice reconciliation, and access management
- Provide insights and strategic recommendations as a trusted advisor
- Collaborate with Client Success and operations for seamless delivery
- Mentor junior team members
Skills & Experience
- ~5-10 years in technology procurement, vendor management, or strategic sourcing in financial services, consulting, or related fields
- Experience with MSPs, resellers, and cloud infrastructure vendors
- Deep knowledge of enterprise tech categories: infrastructure, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, data platforms
- Strong communication skills and executive‑level presence
- Proven success in negotiations, contract structuring, and managing complex vendor relationships
