Logistics Coordinator - Air Freight
My client seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator with strong Air Freight experience and true A-Z operational capability. The ideal candidate comes from a small to mid-size freight forwarder, where they've been hands-on across the entire lifecycle of shipments-not siloed into a single operational function.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end (A-Z) air freight operations, including:
- Quoting & routing
- Booking with airlines
- Pickup coordination
- Documentation (HAWB/MAWB, AES filing, commercial invoices, COOs, etc.)
- Tracking & tracing
- Customs coordination
- Issue resolution and exception management
- Final delivery coordination and customer updates
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, carriers, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with all international and domestic shipping regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely data entry in TMS and internal systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with airline partners and service providers.
- Continuously monitor shipments to ensure on-time performance and service reliability.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of air freight operations experience, ideally in a freight forwarding environment.
- Proven A-Z operational experience-you've owned the entire process, not just one part.
- Background in small or mid-sized freight forwarders (strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of:
- Air carrier booking processes
- International documentation
- Incoterms
- U.S. export regulations and customs processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency with freight forwarding/TMS systems (CargoWise experience is a plus).
