Logistics & Customs Manager - APAC
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Logistics & Customs Manager to oversee all logistics planning and customs compliance activities across the APAC region. This is an individual contributor role requiring strong operational expertise and the ability to manage end-to-end processes independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute logistics strategies for APAC to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Manage international and domestic transportation, warehousing, and distribution planning.
- Handle all customs clearance and compliance processes, ensuring adherence to local and international regulations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to resolve any shipment or compliance issues.
- Monitor and optimize supply chain performance, including lead times, costs, and service levels.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for import/export activities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for APAC logistics and customs matters, reporting directly to the Global Procurement Director.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, International Trade, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics and customs operations within the consumer electronics industry or similar sector.
- Strong knowledge of APAC customs regulations and trade compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with freight management, customs clearance, and documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English; additional Asian languages are a plus.
