Maintenance Manager
One of our clients in the food and beverage manufacturing industry is looking to bring on a Maintenance Manager to support one of their facilities in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. This person will lead and coordinate the Maintenance team to maintain, improve, and expand the manufacturing infrastructure.
Location: Greater San Francisco Bay Area
Shift: 1st or 2nd
Compensation: $90,000-$115,000 + Bonus
Responsibilities:
- Lead, support, and develop the team while creating an inclusive, safety‑focused environment.
- Set direction for the Maintenance team through coaching, training, and ongoing skill development.
- Manage budgets and oversee maintenance of key utility systems (refrigeration, steam, compressed air, etc.).
- Improve equipment reliability by strengthening the work order system, preventive/predictive maintenance, and spare parts programs.
- Partner with Operations to boost machinery efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Engineering degree & 5yrs professional experience OR 10yrs relevant experience
- Collaborates effectively across all levels and departments, with strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Brings extensive maintenance experience in large factories and in managing key utility systems.
- Background in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred
- Knowledgeable in EHSS requirements and able to work effectively in a union environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and CMMS, with flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or varying shifts.
