Maintenance Supervisor
About the Role:
Our client, a growing leader in the bioenergy manufacturing industry, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at their production facility. This role is vital to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting sustainable energy production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and emergency repairs.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Ensure all equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and process systems, operates safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support continuous improvement and capital projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
Candidate Profile:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in energy, chemical, or renewable sectors.
- Strong leadership skills and hands-on technical expertise.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of bioenergy systems, biomass processing, or anaerobic digestion is a plus.
