Are you a hands-on problem solver with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems? A well-established manufacturing facility in the Greater Omaha area is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly and safely.

In this role, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment and facility systems. From CNC machines and PLCs to HVAC, hydraulics, and pneumatics, you'll work with a variety of technologies to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. You'll also play a key role in preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues on production equipment
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and facility infrastructure
  • Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Use diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and fabrication equipment to complete repairs
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards including LOTO, OSHA, and NFPA
  • Support facility upkeep, including lighting, compressed air systems, and general repairs
  • Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects and resolve issues efficiently

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and training
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machinery, PLCs, VFDs, and control systems
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic instruments and precision tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Willingness to travel between sites and work flexible hours, including overtime and occasional weekends
