Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Process Engineer to join our upstream manufacturing team. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of production equipment, with a strong focus on spray drying or similar thermal processing technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and performance of upstream manufacturing equipment, particularly spray dryers or equivalent systems.
- Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for equipment-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and equipment upgrades.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, maintenance plans, and process documentation.
- Support validation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment or process changes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food, pharma, or biotech sectors.
- Hands-on experience with spray dryers or similar thermal processing equipment is essential.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with GMP and regulatory requirements is a plus.
