We are seeking an Operational Excellence Manager for one of its manufacturing facilities. This individual will lead continuous improvement initiatives across the site, driving operational efficiency, process optimization, and cultural transformation. The Operational Excellence Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate inefficiencies, implement strategic solutions, and foster a culture of innovation and performance.
The Operational Excellence Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
- Developing and executing a project pipeline focused on throughput, waste reduction, and raw material optimization.
- Designing and implementing operational excellence strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identifying process bottlenecks and proposing innovative, cost-effective solutions.
- Delivering training programs on continuous improvement tools and techniques.
- Implementing and expanding management systems across the facility.
- Establishing and monitoring KPIs to measure initiative impact and progress.
- Promoting best practices in project management and process standardization.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Strengthening the culture of continuous improvement (visual management, 5S, KPI tracking).
- Enhancing team problem-solving capabilities.
- Researching and applying new technologies to improve operational performance.
The Operational Excellence Manager will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the paper industry, preferably in operations.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green, Black, or Master Black Belt) and/or PMP certification preferred.
