Summary:
Seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to support automation and reliability initiatives across high-speed production lines. This role involves troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and plant operating systems, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement. Ideal candidates are proactive, data-driven, and collaborative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain automated systems, robotics, and transfer applications.
- Design, implement, and optimize automation for current and future projects.
- Lead preventive maintenance and reliability improvements.
- Mentor technicians and operators on automation procedures.
- Collaborate on upgrades, installations, and knowledge transfer.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and champion continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with Rockwell Software (Studio 5000, RSLogix, FactoryTalk), Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret schematics.
- Effective communicator and technical leader.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and automation product knowledge.
