Summary:
Seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to support automation and reliability initiatives across high-speed production lines. This role involves troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and plant operating systems, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement. Ideal candidates are proactive, data-driven, and collaborative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and maintain automated systems, robotics, and transfer applications.
  • Design, implement, and optimize automation for current and future projects.
  • Lead preventive maintenance and reliability improvements.
  • Mentor technicians and operators on automation procedures.
  • Collaborate on upgrades, installations, and knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and champion continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with Rockwell Software (Studio 5000, RSLogix, FactoryTalk), Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret schematics.
  • Effective communicator and technical leader.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and automation product knowledge.
