About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plant Superintendent to lead operations in a fast-paced corrugated packaging facility. This role is critical to ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and team development while maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
- Manage and develop a team of supervisors and hourly employees.
- Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to meet operational goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a corrugated packaging or related manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of corrugated converting and printing processes.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
