Process Engineer
Overview
A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Process Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives on the plant floor and enjoys driving continuous improvement through hands-on process optimization.
AS THE PROCESS ENGINEER YOU WILL..
- Serve as a hands-on, floor-focused engineer supporting daily manufacturing operations
- Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and loss points; develop and implement solutions
- Lead and coordinate trials, including cost analysis, risk assessment, and performance validation.
- Analyze production, quality, and raw material data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner closely with operations, maintenance, reliability, and quality teams to improve plant performance
- Support troubleshooting efforts using data analysis, testing, and root cause investigation
- Monitor process control metrics and optimize equipment performance and output
- Present findings and recommendations to both plant leadership and operational teams
AS THE PROCESS ENGINEER YOU SHOULD HAVE..
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering preferred (Mechanical, Pulp & Paper, or related considered)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process environment
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
- Experience in paper, packaging, or chemical manufacturing is a plus
- Prior exposure to process optimization, trials, and plant troubleshooting strongly preferred
