Overview

A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Process Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives on the plant floor and enjoys driving continuous improvement through hands-on process optimization.

AS THE PROCESS ENGINEER YOU WILL..

  • Serve as a hands-on, floor-focused engineer supporting daily manufacturing operations
  • Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and loss points; develop and implement solutions
  • Lead and coordinate trials, including cost analysis, risk assessment, and performance validation.
  • Analyze production, quality, and raw material data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner closely with operations, maintenance, reliability, and quality teams to improve plant performance
  • Support troubleshooting efforts using data analysis, testing, and root cause investigation
  • Monitor process control metrics and optimize equipment performance and output
  • Present findings and recommendations to both plant leadership and operational teams

AS THE PROCESS ENGINEER YOU SHOULD HAVE..

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering preferred (Mechanical, Pulp & Paper, or related considered)
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process environment
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
  • Experience in paper, packaging, or chemical manufacturing is a plus
  • Prior exposure to process optimization, trials, and plant troubleshooting strongly preferred
