Job Description

We are seeking a Procurement Digitalization Specialist to join our team in Spain. As a key member of the procurement team, you will drive the digital transformation of procurement processes within the organization. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about leveraging technology to improve procurement efficiency, enhance data analytics capabilities, and support business-wide digital strategies. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility while working with a dynamic and innovative team.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Procurement Digitalization Strategy:

    • Lead the development and implementation of digital solutions that streamline and automate procurement processes across the organization.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and digital innovation in procurement.

    • Evaluate and recommend new technologies (e.g., e-sourcing platforms, AI tools, and blockchain solutions) that support digital transformation efforts.

  2. Technology Integration & System Management:

    • Oversee the integration of digital tools and platforms into the procurement workflow, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

    • Manage the implementation of procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement Cloud, Coupa, etc.) to optimize procurement efficiency.

    • Ensure seamless operation of digital systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide training for procurement teams on new digital tools.

  3. Data Analytics & Reporting:

    • Leverage data analytics to enhance decision-making in procurement by creating dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

    • Monitor procurement data trends to provide insights and recommendations that optimize purchasing decisions and supplier relationships.

    • Work with business intelligence teams to collect and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.

  4. Collaboration & Change Management:

    • Partner with internal stakeholders, including procurement, IT, finance, and legal departments, to ensure alignment on digital transformation objectives.

    • Lead change management efforts by educating and training procurement teams on digital tools, new processes, and best practices.

    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of digital solutions.

  5. Supplier Relationship Management:

    • Enhance digital communication and collaboration with suppliers to improve procurement efficiency and transparency.

    • Develop and implement digital supplier portals or other communication channels to streamline supplier onboarding, order processing, and performance management.

  6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

    • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in procurement technology and digital transformation.

    • Continuously assess the effectiveness of digital solutions and identify opportunities for further optimization or new technologies.

    • Act as a thought leader in digital procurement, proposing innovative ideas to advance the company's procurement capabilities.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, Six Sigma) would be advantageous.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on digitalization, automation, or the implementation of procurement technologies.

    • Proven experience working with procurement software platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa, Jaggaer, etc.).

    • Strong understanding of procurement processes and strategies, with experience in process optimization and digital transformation.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong technical and digital knowledge with the ability to integrate procurement systems and tools effectively.

    • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to senior management.

    • Experience in managing change within an organization, with the ability to drive adoption of new digital solutions.

    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

  • Languages:
    Proficiency in English is required. Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred, as the role involves liaising with both local and international teams.
