Production Engineer
Develop and apply improvements to processes and procedures aimed at boosting capacity, lowering costs, and improving safety and quality across global supply chain manufacturing operations. Troubleshoot and collaborate within a team setting alongside operations and other Unit Operating Team members. Leverage process improvement techniques to support Operational Excellence initiatives and drive profitability.
Responsibilities Include:
- Monitor and optimize production performance by tracking unit operations and product quality, diagnosing deviations, and implementing corrective measures to maintain standards.
- Drive process improvements to enhance capacity, reduce costs, and strengthen safety and quality in chemical manufacturing, while troubleshooting existing workflows for better uptime and efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership for plant trials, startups, and operator training, including developing operating procedures and recommending control logic changes to improve safety and efficiency.
- Manage engineering and process documentation such as PFDs, P&IDs, mass/energy balances, and change requests (MCRs/PCFs), while specifying and sourcing new equipment in collaboration with vendors.
- Lead analytical and safety initiatives by performing data/statistical analysis, supporting small capital projects, and participating in hazard and risk assessments (PPA, JSA, PHA) to ensure operational excellence.
Skillset Includes:
- BS degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of related experience in the chemical manufacturing industry
