Production Manager
Job Summary:
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations within a pharmaceutical facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, production efficiency, and product quality. This role leads cross-functional teams to meet production schedules while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate production activities to meet output, quality, and compliance targets.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
- Lead and develop production staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with quality assurance, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and optimize workflows.
- Monitor production metrics and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support validation activities, change controls, and documentation in alignment with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing, with strong knowledge of regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership and team management skills in a production environment.
- Familiarity with batch records, SOPs, and quality systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree or certifications preferred).
