Purchasing Manager
**MANDATORY ONSITE
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all purchasing and storeroom operations
- Ensure full compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Procure materials and services while identifying cost-saving alternatives and suppliers
- Serve as the buyer for purchase orders exceeding $100,000, including freight verification and discrepancy resolution
- Lead the annual Blanket PO process, including quote collection, approval coordination, and PO issuance
- Develop and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), bid packages, and Master Service Agreements
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent operational disruptions
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all storeroom transactions
- Supervise and support the purchasing team
- Oversee training and development of storeroom personnel
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent professional experience
- Proven supervisory experience
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) designation preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting (preferred)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- This is a full-time, on-site role located at the Tomahawk, WI mill (not remote or hybrid)
- Valid driver's license required
