Quality Engineer
The Quality Engineer will play a key role in ensuring our products and processes meet rigorous automotive quality standards. This position requires hands-on experience with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and ISO 9001, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and ISO 9001 across manufacturing and quality systems.
- Lead internal audits and support external audits, including customer and third-party assessments.
- Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Support APQP and PPAP processes for new product launches and engineering changes.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation (Control Plans, PFMEAs, Work Instructions).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and drive improvements.
- Monitor quality metrics and lead initiatives to improve product and process performance.
- Interface with customers and suppliers on quality-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of quality engineering experience in the automotive industry.
- Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Proficient in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC methodologies.
- Skilled in problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone diagrams.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
