As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality systems that meet and exceed industry standards. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams-including engineering, production, and supply chain-to ensure compliance, resolve issues, and drive initiatives that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Lead Quality Assurance Activities: Oversee quality planning, audits, and compliance initiatives aligned with IATF 16949 standards.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Utilize advanced quality tools to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and optimize processes.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with design, manufacturing, and supplier teams to ensure seamless integration of quality requirements.
- Support New Product Launches: Apply APQP and PPAP methodologies to validate processes and ensure flawless execution.
- Champion Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze metrics, prepare reports, and present findings to leadership for strategic improvements.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- IATF 16949 Expertise: Proven experience managing quality systems in compliance with automotive standards.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Gage R&R, PPAP, APQP, and GD&T for effective product and process control.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a Quality Engineering role within the automotive industry.
- Audit Capability: Lead Auditor Certification highly preferred, demonstrating your ability to conduct thorough compliance audits.
- Communication & Leadership: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Work Authorization: Must have current U.S. work authorization (citizen, green card holder, or valid work visa not requiring employer sponsorship). We will not sponsor employment visas (e.g. H‑1B, TN, EAD).
