Position Overview: Reliability Engineer
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance
- Must have experience with lean/performance management and a strong technical background
- Develops and maintains a unified approach to equipment design and upkeep strategies.
- Focuses on long-term solutions to minimize unplanned equipment stoppages in assigned areas.
- Owns daily downtime metrics, using Pareto analysis to target top recurring issues.
- Aims to enhance equipment reliability through preventive strategies, safety compliance, and cost efficiency.
- Possesses hands-on familiarity with plant machinery and supports maintenance execution when needed.
- Acts as the go-to resource for reliability processes and collaborates closely with technical teams for equipment-specific insights.
- Designs and updates maintenance routines, identifies critical spare parts, prepares training content, and manages technical records (including SAP PM structure).
- Integrates insights from system data, team input, and documentation to analyze and improve maintenance workflows.
- Supports leadership in prioritizing maintenance initiatives based on data-driven insights.
- Assists in defining service expectations and monitoring vendor performance when maintenance is outsourced.
- Continuously evaluates and refines preventive maintenance plans to align with operational changes and budget constraints.
- Shares expertise across locations and works in tandem with reliability peers and subject matter experts.
- Receives guidance from the Maintenance & Engineering Lead on strategic focus areas and professional development.
- Applies structured problem-solving tools such as FMEA, RCM, DMAIC, RCA, and ATS.
- Reports directly to the Head of Engineering & Maintenance.
