Summary:
A global leader in Recycling Technology & Industrial Machinery is hiring a Sales Manager to drive growth and customer success within the industrial recycling sector. This role focuses on managing a defined sales territory, building strong customer relationships, and delivering high-tech solutions that support sustainability and resource recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow a defined sales territory across new and existing customer accounts.
* Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and hand off to project delivery teams.
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
* Build deep, consultative relationships with customers to understand their business models and align solutions that deliver measurable value.
* Act as the voice of the customer, identifying market needs and contributing to product innovation.
* Provide detailed market intelligence, including trends and competitive insights.
* Collaborate on marketing initiatives such as trade shows, social media, and speaking engagements.
* Champion customer satisfaction and contribute to long-term strategic growth plans.
* Work independently and proactively to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical).
* 5+ years of experience selling large capital industrial equipment across broad territories.
* Experience in the waste and recycling industry is a strong plus.
* Strong communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
* Proficiency in CRM and sales software tools.
* Comfortable working in industrial environments and traveling 50-70% of the time.
