Role Overview:

As a Sales Manager focused on the chemicals and tank logistics sector, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and delivering customized logistics solutions. You will play a key role in expanding our client's market share and ensuring customer satisfaction in a highly regulated and competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting the chemical and tank logistics market.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with manufacturers, distributors, and traders of chemical products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with operations, compliance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the chemical logistics sector.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts in line with company policies.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in logistics, with at least 2 years in the chemical/tank segment.
  • Strong understanding of ADR, IMDG, and other relevant regulations.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., German, Dutch, French) are a plus.
