We're partnering with a leading aerospace component manufacturing company to find a Senior Environmental Engineer to join their Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team in Hampton, VA.
This is a high-impact role where you will drive environmental compliance, lead sustainability initiatives, and support continuous improvement across a complex manufacturing operation.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead environmental compliance across air, wastewater, stormwater, chemical, and waste programs
- Partner with plant leadership to promote EHS culture and continuous improvement
- Manage wastewater treatment systems and environmental monitoring activities
- Oversee regulatory reporting, permitting, and agency interactions
- Deliver training and lead cross-functional environmental initiatives
- Identify and implement opportunities to reduce waste and improve resource efficiency
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of environmental/EHS experience, ideally in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations
- Experience managing air, water, wastewater, or waste programs
- Ability to communicate effectively and lead initiatives across teams
