Senior Manager of Procurement

We are supporting an IPP on their search for a Director of Procurement to lead the overall supply chain strategy and execution for a diverse portfolio of energy projects, including renewable and thermal developments. This is a senior leadership role with significant influence on project success, timelines, and financial outcomes. The position involves building strong procurement practices, negotiating major contracts, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a long-term procurement strategy aligned with the company's development pipeline.
• Oversee negotiation and contracting for major equipment across BESS, Solar, and EPC, O&M and more.
• Drive value creation while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Secure strategic agreements and manage pricing strategies in dynamic markets.
• Build and maintain a global supplier network across multiple regions.
• Manage procurement risk, including compliance, geopolitical considerations, and contingency planning.
• Conduct analysis for new technologies and assess financial and technical implications.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to achieve contracting milestones.
• Represent the company in relevant industry forums and associations.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of Procurement experience, with at least 3 in the Renewable Energy space.
• Experience managing over $100M in annual spend.
• Strong acumen in domestic trade policy.
• Bachelors Degree.
• MBA or Engineering Degree strongly preferred.
• CPSM, MCIPS, preferred.
