Senior Quality Assurance Specialist - Toys & Juvenile Products
The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established international sourcing and retail platform supporting global consumer brands. They are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist - Toys & Juvenile Products to take ownership of product safety, supplier performance, and manufacturing quality across toy categories.
This is a highly visible role working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, suppliers, and testing partners to ensure products meet the highest global compliance standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee end-to-end product quality control from development through mass production
- Partner with suppliers to ensure compliance with international safety and regulatory standards
- Conduct supplier management, quality audits, and capability assessments
- Align with QC teams to ensure inspection readiness, including specifications, testing protocols, and approved samples
- Drive resolution of quality issues, claims, and customer feedback with a preventative mindset
- Collaborate with third-party laboratories on testing programs and certification requirements
- Identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product consistency and safety
What they're Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in product quality, preferably within toys or consumer products
- Strong understanding of global compliance standards
- Exposure to factory audits, supplier management, and production quality control
- Experience working with testing labs and certification processes
- Background in retail sourcing, buying office, or trading environment is highly desirable
- Detail-driven with a strong sense of ownership, integrity, and accountability
- Fluent communication in English and Mandarin Chinese
