Senior Supply Chain Business Planner

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Supply Chain Business Planner to lead end-to-end planning initiatives that drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role will be responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies, forecasting demand, optimizing inventory, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure alignment with business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Forecasting

    • Develop and manage mid-to-long-term supply chain plans aligned with business objectives.
    • Lead demand forecasting processes using historical data, market trends, and sales input.
    • Identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Inventory & Capacity Management

    • Optimize inventory levels to balance service levels, working capital, and supply variability.
    • Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure capacity planning meets demand.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting

    • Analyze supply chain KPIs and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare and present reports to senior leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to align planning processes.
    • Drive S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings and ensure consensus on plans.
  • Process Improvement

    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and supply chain agility.
    • Implement and refine planning tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Anaplan).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5-8+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and planning software.
  • Experience with ERP and advanced planning systems (APS).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.
