Summary:
A leading retailer seeking a Senior Transportation Performance Analyst to join its North America Trade and Transportation team. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with a strong background in logistics, supply chain operations, and process improvement. The position focuses on driving operational excellence through data integrity, exception management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee data integrity and exception handling across SAP S/4HANA, Freight Audit & Pay, and related systems
- Design and implement preventive controls and quality checks to ensure accurate logistics and financial data
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve operational issues
- Develop and maintain SOPs and training materials to support consistent execution
- Build and update KPI dashboards to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, Distribution Center Operations, and external vendors
- Provide guidance to Business Analysts to enhance team capabilities and consistency
- Summarize findings and present actionable recommendations to various stakeholders
- Support process improvements across Transportation, Supply Chain, and Finance functions
- Ensure accurate and timely cost and revenue recognition across logistics segments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or process management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP and TMS systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA or similar)
- Familiarity with SQL and/or Python is a plus
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills
