A well‑established plastics and packaging manufacturing organization is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations in a high‑volume, process‑driven environment. This role is critical to maintaining safe production, meeting shift targets, and supporting a strong performance culture.
The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Leading shift production to meet output and quality expectations
- Monitoring equipment performance and resolving basic issues
- Supporting changeovers and maintaining smooth workflow
- Providing hands‑on coaching to production employees
- Managing staffing, attendance, and shift coordination
- Enforcing safety policies and promoting safe work habits
- Upholding quality standards and escalating concerns when needed
- Collaborating with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams
The ideal Shift Supervisor will have the following qualifications:
- High school diploma required; technical training preferred
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience; plastics/packaging experience preferred
- Prior supervisory or team‑lead experience
- Strong communication and a floor‑focused leadership style
