This role partners closely with Production Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Customer Service to drive forecast accuracy, on‑time delivery, and throughput in a multi‑site, global environment
Primary Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the long‑range and mid‑term master production schedule across four global factories.
- Translate global demand signals into feasible production plans considering capacity, labor, and material constraints at each site.
- Balance workload across sites when appropriate to mitigate risk and improve delivery performance.
- Align schedules across regions to support intercompany flows, shared resources, and common components.
- Coordinate scheduling priorities across time zones, ensuring clear handoffs and alignment.
- Support global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and demand review processes with accurate schedule inputs.
- Partner with Procurement to align purchase timing with global production needs.
Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related discipline required.
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in master scheduling, production planning, or integrated supply chain roles.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multi‑site manufacturing operations, including responsibility for coordinating schedules across global or regional factory networks.
- Proven experience operating in a matrixed, global organization, working across time zones and cultures.
- Experience in make‑to‑order or mixed‑mode manufacturing environments with complex product structures and variable demand.
Global and Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Ability to lead and influence without direct authority across Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Service, and Supply Chain.
- Demonstrated capability to align competing regional priorities to meet global business objectives.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scheduling and capacity trade‑offs clearly to both operational teams and senior leadership.
- Proven track record of resolving cross‑functional conflicts pragmatically and constructively.
Business and Strategic Competencies
- Ability to take a global, long‑term perspective when making scheduling and capacity decisions.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of how scheduling performance impacts customer delivery, revenue, and inventory.
- Ability to anticipate risks, model scenarios, and recommend mitigation strategies before execution issues occur.
- Experience supporting or contributing to S&OP or integrated business planning processes
Personal Attributes
- Highly organized, disciplined, and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage complexity at scale.
- Comfortable operating in environments with ambiguity, changing priorities, and incomplete information.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes.
