The Opportunity

This is a high-impact role for a seasoned procurement professional with deep expertise in capital equipment and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) sourcing. You'll lead strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple facilities, working closely with engineering and project management teams to deliver cost-effective, timely, and technically sound procurement solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute long-term sourcing strategies for CapEx and MRO categories.
  • Lead RFx processes, supplier negotiations, and contract awards for capital equipment and services.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise equipment specifications and drive performance.
  • Create and manage regional/global supply agreements and support budgeting for capital projects.
  • Mentor internal stakeholders on procurement best practices and contracted programs.
  • Manage medium to complex procurement projects across multiple sites.
  • Ensure commercial terms and conditions are aligned with business goals.
  • Act as a deputy for the Head of CapEx & MRO Sourcing when required.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of strategic sourcing experience in technical goods, ideally in a centralised procurement function.
  • Proven track record in capital equipment and MRO sourcing, including RFI/RFP processes.
  • Experience in food processing, pharmaceutical, or chemical industries.
  • Strong project management skills in multi-plant or international environments.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with precision and prioritisation.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.
