Supply Planner
Role Overview
The Supply Planner will be responsible for ensuring the right products are available at the right time and place. This role involves managing supply plans, coordinating with production and procurement, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain short- and long-term supply plans based on demand forecasts and inventory targets.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust supply plans to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Identify and resolve supply constraints and bottlenecks.
- Support the S&OP process with accurate supply data and insights.
- Maintain planning parameters in ERP systems and ensure data accuracy.
- Track supplier performance and lead times to improve reliability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain planning.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply planning or related roles, ideally in the food or FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
