Technical Operation Manager (Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing & Technical Operations

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations across multiple facilities in China, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to support new product introductions and process optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and corporate policies.

Supply Chain Management

  • Manage procurement, logistics, inventory control, and supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and components.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals and market dynamics.
  • Monitor and improve KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), inventory turnover, and cost-to-serve.
  • Lead risk management and contingency planning for supply disruptions.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with global and regional teams to align operational strategies and share best practices.
  • Represent the China operations in global forums and contribute to strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain roles within industrial machinery or related sectors.
  • Proven leadership experience managing plant operations and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of China's industrial landscape, regulatory environment, and supplier ecosystem.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.
