Overview
A leading global manufacturer in the consumer goods sector is seeking a dynamic Technical Project Manager to drive innovation and operational excellence within its supply chain organization. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects that enhance productivity, optimize costs, and support growth initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities
The Technical Project Manager will spearhead cross-functional projects focused on supply chain improvements, product innovation, capital investments, and cost optimization. Success will be measured through effective project execution, timely launches, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Leading project planning sessions to develop standardized timelines and critical path schedules using tools such as MS Project.
  • Managing project KPIs related to timing, cost, quality, and budget, ensuring all deliverables meet business objectives.
  • Facilitating weekly team meetings and driving clear communication across stakeholders.
  • Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and reporting status updates to leadership.
  • Conducting post-launch evaluations to recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborating with engineering, operations, product development, and maintenance teams to implement equipment and process enhancements.
  • Driving accountability and execution across cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of discipline and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
  • 3-4 years of project management experience, ideally within a CPG or FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results.
  • Experience with capital projects in a manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, standard work processes, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or production line environments is a plus.
